i live in montreal and go to between 15 and 25 games a year and watch the rest . I think you should watch danault a bit more often .Elite ??? Come on . The only reason he gets points is because he is the defacto number 1 center on montreal . Because the next best center is an 18 year 150 pound kid ( kotkaniemi ) . Domi had a good season but is not a true center . If Danault is elite why did the habs offersheet AHO ???? If Danault is elite selke class 3c why did the habs try and bring back Plekanec last year ? Why did they trade for and resign NATE THOMPSON and JORDAN WEAL to take faceoffs and pk ?? Danault is splitting the pp time and playing with top six players who are carrying him point wise . He is no more a true top two center then Anisimov . Anisimov put up points playing with KANE and PANARIN . When Strome took over the 2c position and AA was not getting the pp and playing with star wingers he had his worse season as a hawk . Same goes for Danault .

Career high of 13 goals . how can you say Elite ?? he is 26 yrs old and had a 53 point season . Saad has one 30 goal season and four seasons of 23 or more goals . SAAD has 148 career goals Danault has 37 . Saad has almost three times the amount of career points that Danault has . SAAD won 2 cups and had strong playoffs in both and is a very fast 200 foot complete player . OH AND BY THE WAY THEY ARE THE SAME AGE AND WERE DRAFTED IN THE SAME YEAR . So if that makes Danault elite SAAD must be the next coming of GRETZKY .
