yeah Rangers say no to that Boston deal.

it usually feels like Debrusk is a huge beneficiary of Krejci driving the offense...hey would you look at that. It looks like the numbers show exactly that.

it seems like most of Debrusk's value is defensive....which as we know is a product of Boston's amazing system.

Buch for Brusk straight up is close though.

The real question is what drugs would the Anaheim GM have to be taking to give us a 2nd round pick for Shatty and take his entire contract? Crack? Heroin? PCP?

Really...why would the Rangers do this trade? They give up a young roster player, 2 prospects & a 2nd round pick for a young roster player + a $5mil cap hit to bury Backes in the minors for 2 years. Gorton should be fired if he makes this trade. Boston should be giving up more for the Rangers to take Backes off their hands.
