Might need to brake the pairing up and mix with top pairing and should be all right

I'd be surprised if the 3rd pairing isn't just straight up better on both parts. We know Parayko > Ekblad, and I assume Hughes will be better than massively overrated Nurse

Yes I would take my chances with that pairing all day, over the second pairing, footspeed so essential these days, I think ekblad could have one of the worst contracts in the league in the not so distant future, and Holland probably going to do the same with nurse soon, or hopefully sell high soon

I was really low on Ekblad the season he signed that contract, but he's actually bounced back to his rookie skill level. Florida isn't really reaping any benefits like one would hope with a contract like that, but I think Ekblad is worth 6.5-7m at this point, so it's not a bad contract imo. But I'd agree it looked bad the season before this one
