Thanks for the update, chico. Already outlined that in prior postings. Even so, it looks like a not-so-bad option for the Bruins though. After tonight, they will have selected 5 1st round picks in the past two years, which helps soften the blow a bit. There other option is to send 1 1st round pick + a Vatrano to the Blues for Shattenkirk, who has less of an upside and may only be on the team for one year. I think the Jones move makes more sense.

Trading Marchand is more like an everyday thang. Which player on the Bruins wants a bigger contract? Is more valuable? And younger? Trading Marchy should happen. He'd be a 20 goal guy anywhere else. Trade him for a Kings ransom (more than 2 1st's) which would hopefully be NHL ready assets. If he only gets us picks you can eff it. Theres disturbing info that Krejci + Burgeron are nearing the end of their primes in the next couple years, we can't take futures... We need good assets who would be LW with Bergy + Krejci.

Hahaha...... Funny, Bruins are supposedly already talking extension with Marchand (thank god). He isn't going anywhere, and rightfully so.
