The way I see it, Chicago is good for defensive prospects. Beaudin, Boqvist, Krys... its a nice amount to have. You also have NHL ready guys in Dahlstrom and Keokkoek along with prime age players like Murphy, Maatta and De Haan. Unfortunately, this made Jokiharju expendable. It also doesn't help that Seabrook is under contract for the next forever.

Nylander's development was hindered in Buffalo and Chicago will most likely be able to develop and mentor him properly so he can become that full time NHL player that he was touted to be.
