2010-4th overall Ryan Johanson- Traded for Seth Jones. Player was okay for Columbus but Jones is the franchise RHD and looks for a promising future. Hit on this trade
2011 8th OA traded to Philadelphia, Sean Couturier, we got Jeff Carter back in the trade. Carter didn’t do anything in Columbus and was traded to LA. Pick was a miss for CBJ.
2012 2nd OA pick- Ryan Murray, started out as a bust with injury issues, last year was his best year and looked like he was supposed to be taken 3rd overall till he got hurt. With the defenseman takin after in with the likes of Rielly and Dumba, pick was a massive miss.
2013 14th OA, Alex Wennberg, 1 big year and turned into a healthy scratch at the end of the year, miss of a pick
2013 19th OA pick Kerby Rychel, never made the NHL. Was traded later for nothing. Another miss.
2013 27OA pick ,Marko Dano, ended up in Winnipeg as an AHL player. Again a miss.
2014 16th OA, Sonny Milano, bouncing between AHL and NHL, looks like a bust. Another missed draft pick.
2015 8th OA, Zach Werenski, teams top LHD. Pick is a massive hit.
2015 29th OA Gabriel Carlsson, decent defenseman but hasn’t been good enough to make the roster, starting to look like a bust. Miss of a pick.
2016 3rd OA Pierre-Luc Dubois, kid looks like a top line center as he continues his development. Looks to be a hit of a pick.
2017 23rd OA pick, Traded to Vegas then flipped to Winnipeg.
2018 18th OA, Liam Foudy, looks like a solid pick but too early to tell.
2019, 19th OA, pick trades to Ottawa for Matt Duchene.

2 bona fide winners...Nash & Voracek.
Brassard wasn’t a bad pick, he played well in Columbus and New York. He’s just dropped a lot recently, but yeah, Columbus can’t draft in the 1st round worth a hoot. Maybe we should trade them all for players.
