Well i guess we could just wait another decade for a prospect to be good enough to score 50pts.......... Jagr and Jokinen are examples of UFA's that worked out for their teams so its not unheard of that a UFA performs well.

Not a decade, it usually takes 3-5 years for a prospect to develop. I hope the habs can get okposo and I'd offer as much as 6 million for 6 years, but with the cap increase and seeing what yandle just got I think okposo will be able to get closer to 7 mil for 7 years. It's a contract that will hurt down the line.

I don't think perron will get a 5 year deal.

The defense is awful without subban as well.
