Description

A Gusev trade seems inevitable, but Vegas still needs to move another contract or two. Kukan can played both left and right side down the stretch. Riley Nash comes as an inexpensive replacement to center the 4th line. Added a pick and prospect to help the value.

Reeves and Holden is the general consensus, Vegas would never have traded Haula if they were planing on trading Gusev, they knew the drill when they brought him over

I think Eakin seems like he’ll definitely go, lots of teams willing to take on one year. They’re not really in a spot to trade D, so they might be able to capitalize on the lore of Gusev and sell high

I like the Idea of trying to bring Gusev to CBJ. Less risk to Vegas since he hasn’t played in NHL yet, but they may overvalue him a bit. What about trying for wild Bill Karlsson instead???

I don't think Vegas would trade Karlsson after just signing him his contract, but if it were something that Seth Jones or PLD, or someone who has similar value I think they would go on board with it.

Hypothetically, but I know Seth Jones is pretty much untouchable.

Just the let Wild Bill stuff go. Gusev could be a near replica of when Panarin came over from Russia.
