Your logic for trading RNH to NYR he fits well in NY. Then add Colby Jones who is a pretty good D prospect that has improved each season. How is that good for Edmonton?

Toronto gets Manning for half price and Edmonton gets a 4th. How is that good for Edmonton?

Brodziak is 35 and in the last year of his $1.25M contract. This is basically a cap dump and Ottawa is going to want some thing for it. So why give up an asset to dump $1.25M? Especially when the buyout is $350K this year and $400K next season. How is that good for Edmonton?

Colby Cave is 24 still young enough to become a solid player. Plus he fills a roster spot for $675K and has 1yr left on his contract. How is this good for Edmonton?
