Description

To start, I know Kessel has a NMC/NTC, but I think he would consider waiving with the progress Jersey has made.

Why would Pit trade Kessel to a team is the division? Strictly because it's Shero and he has a good relationship with Pit and their management. Don't know if that's enough justification, but anything could happen.

Before anyone attempts to castrate me on cap space for resigning next season, Greene comes off the books and hopefully calls it quits. (Thats why I held on to Mueller) 5M saved plus the already 7.4M and the cap going up next season. Hall will get lets say +5Million, Nico +6M, and Bratt +4.5M (Thats being modest unless Nico and Bratt have huge seasons)
Long story short, we would be okay.

Just looking to make nice conversation. Don't need anyone snapping at me because it doesn't follow your vision.

Really don't know how to value Kessel because of the situation. I know every PIT fan wants JJ gone, so upgrading him with Vat and then the addition of Wood, McLeod and pick should cover Kessel? (If not, give opinion on how close or far off it is)

Sorry, I meant additional millions on top of what they are already making. So Hall +5M, Nico +6M and Bratt +4.5M

Ahh makes sense thanks and i think there pretty accurate although maybe nico gets a bit more like you said! Good job

and as far as the trade your right it is hard to gauge kessels trade value as there have been so many different rumors ranging his value all over the place I'd say they do it cause they wanna move on from him but ill prob get roasted on here for saying that

I think it all comes down to this next season. If Nico puts up 60-70, and Bratt puts up 50+ then I may have undercut them.

I was hoping a Pit fan would jump on and make a comment just to gauge interest

A Pitt fan would love this. Johnson may be the worst signing of last year, an albatross. Your selling McLeod low, throwing in Wood with upside and Vats coming off a contract at year end. For a fading Kessel with 3 more years. Good gravy
