Why not just grab a maroon or two, and possibly a mcnabb or two and call it a day, the skill is well covered, just need some muscle to get them the room to make it work, and a little harder to play against blueline

Honestly, McDavid going to TB would be a disaster for both TB and McDavid.
His inability to win a faceoff would show how detrimental it is to both the team and his value as a player.
Especially in the playoffs if he has to go against someone like Bergeron who would own him at the dot.
He'd win like 90% of them and Boston would always have possession of the puck. They would have to shelter a top pairing center who makes 12.5 million a year. What a joke.

Still better than Malkin and Mackinnon

that's why Malkin took 800 face offs last year and crosby 1800.
Of course one can always say, hey Crosby is the number 1.
But McDavid in TB, would clearly be the guy.
