what is that EDM trade?

A good second line center, 2 bright prospects and 2 2nd round picks... for an elite defense, one that Edmonton needs/wants behind mcdavid

It would be RNH for Barrie straight up, way too many extra pieces

ok, take away some pics, but RNH isnt enough for Barrie. RNH had 69 points and played with mcdavid for a good part of the season. Barrie had 59 points. Sure he is a minus, but most good offensive defense are. Its a trade-off a team has to live with to have high point production from the defensive end. anyways edmonton has plenty of shut-down/defensive minded d(nurse,larsson,russel,klefbom)

RNH rarely played with Mcdavid, was on a line for at most 25% of the year, an almost 70 point 2nd line center is worth just as much as a 60 point very offensive dman
