Brodie, Hamonic and Frolik all on expiring deals serve a purpose as Andersson, Kylington etc. need new deals next year and should probably be prioritized. This is a good team that really should've challenged for the cup this year, and they might do next year with decent goaltending. Offloading the Neal contract will probably become a priority, but with the low cap this year it'd become very expensive to do so while Calgary still has enough entry level deals to try to move Neal in a year. I don't think Giordano will replicate this season, but he probably doesn't have to as the rest of the defense keeps getting better. I'd assume this team reaches the 2nd/3rd round of playoffs next year unless they run into Vegas or SJS somehow has the most amazing rest of this offseason.
