I'm pretty sure Detroit won't trade Bertuzzi. I know the front office and the owners really like him and he does bring a unique skill set to the team. Now when I say this people either say I'm wrong or I have no idea what I'm talking about. But the link below explains it better than I can.

I wouldn't say "won't", but it would have to be something where the return outvalues Bert. A .5ppg player making 1.4mm with controllable years left is a pretty good value, on top of all the scrappiness and sandpaper he provides. I'm not sure Krug moves the needle for DET to move on from Bertuzzi, especially because he's a UFA after next season. Plus, it still doesn't make DET a contender.
