Brett pesce isn't worth that much.

I would not be happy if Bowman did that Carolina trade.

As a canes fan, I don’t like the trade but I can see where it comes from. The canes would accept if it wasn’t McGinn just because of his potential. He is 25 but he has great defensive stats and may break 20 goals with the right players. Look at what happened to foegele in the playoffs when he played first line. McGinn is good but sad is much better and I don’t think that the Murphy pesce diffrence makes up that difference for the canes. We do overvalue our players tho.

Saad was a 4th line scratch at points for Chicago. Pesce was the best defensive D man on a team that prides itself defensively. You need to add from a Chicago standpoint for Carolina to realistically take this. Pesce is on a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L contract and he's so good. Why trade him?

I really think you're selling Saad short on the post-out type of luck he and Toews have had for large periods of the last few seasons
