The Blue Jackets take on a player in Turris who maybe will bounce back in Columbus, as he didn't fit in Nashville. Reunited with Dzingel I think he could have a good year. And they get a mid round pick for taking his contract.

Nash didn't seem to play great in Columbus, but I still believe he is a solid 3rd/4th line player, overpaid but he can still contribute for a Preds team that needs to make space for potential moves.

The Jackets get a player in William Nylander who obviously had his fair share of struggles last year, but had a fantastic World Championships and I believe would fit well with Dubois and Atkinson similar to how Panarin did (not on the same level obviously). He Imo should be a 60-65 point guy with them. Zaitsev needs a new change in scenery and could benefit from going to Columbus with less expectations and the media circus that is Toronto.

The Leafs get a good 2nd pair guy in David Savard who provides a lot of what the Leafs need from their backend, stability and good puck possession. I believe he could be a solid anchor for Travis Dermott to play with or potentially could fit well with Reilly as well. Jenner is what he is, the guy with the skill of a top 6 forward, but hasn't taken that step offensively like he should is best as a 3rd liner and a guy who can consistently give you 15 goals and 35 points a year. Stenlund's potential as a prospect is seen to be an effective 3rd liner at either centre or the rightwing, who has good defensive instincts.

The Jackets get a couple 2nds for a D-man in Murray who has injury concern and is sort of expendable for the team due to young players developing like Carlsson, Nuutivara, and Kukan and the D is a position of non concern for Columbus at the moment.

The Devils get a 2nd pairing d-man who is a solid defender, not much offensive game, but he's a really solid player.

has potential as a bottom 6 scorer but isn't getting his opportunities in LA, could do well for a low price.
