Description

If the Blackhawks chose to draft Byram, they have a true nr 1 defensemen prospect and the the possibiity to trade Boqvist occur. When you se how Nylanders contract is constructed, no matter what Dubas is saying, i definitly believe Toronto can accept a deal for him to strenght their defence.

Saad and Anisimov can be kept for one more year untill Strome, Cat and Gus require new delas. But if a good deal comes up, trade them. But maybe i would try to find a deal the uppgrade the D pool.

I think Strålman will remain at Tampa but if he don´t resign, i think its a really good uppgrade to the defence. The benefite of signing a veteran is that it won´t take up a roster spot for a long time so the prospects can get a chance in the future.

I wouldn't give up Boqvist alone for that. I wouldn't give up Boqvist for Big Willie and a 2nd alone. Big Willie could rebound, but he's got to high a cap hit for being a poor man's Debrincat.

Why would you automatically want to trade Boqvist if the hawks draft Byram? We don't know what Byram will be, and I would rather have both defenseman in the top 4 assuming they develop than a top 6 forward.

Here in Sweden we rate Nylander very high (quite obvious). Lundqvist even said at the WC that he thinks Nylander is one of the best players in the world. I don´t agree on that but i am sure that the cap hit Nylander have right now will be a bargain in a couple of years.

I agree on that but as i said, the possibility comes up if we draft Byram. But i would only do it for a deal like this to get a sure superstar.

That's fair and He certainly dominated at worlds just a few weeks ago. I just worry about his lack of NHL production while still getting that mega contract. You're probably right, that he'll bounce back...it's just a concern right now.
