Description
Judging trades is always difficult, so if you feel any of them are particularly uneven, let me know. The point is we leave the forwards mostly as-is and improve the D, but still play Boro for some reason. This isn't necessarily what I want to happen, but something I could definitely see happening.

        Pretty accurate, I read that Chiasson is asking for 1.5-2m so it might be good to move him and Vatanen would for sure strengthen your defense

        Chiasson trade seems fair. May be able to squeeze out a 3rd, but a 4th seems right.

        Vatanen trade seems fair as well, maybe we're underpaying a little, but I'd be surprised if Anaheim accepted at this point. More like Lazar + 7th.

        But come trade deadline, and they haven't dealt a defenseman, they'll definitely do this, as expansion draft is nearing. Problem for the Sens is, now we have too many defensemen! If we protect three, that's Phaneuf (NMC), Karlsson, and then either Vatanen, Ceci or Methot. Two of the three become exposed, and we lose a valuable asset for nothing. If we opt to go 8-1 instead of 7-3-1, then we'll be losing a quality forward.
