In your defense, you're about the twentieth person who's made such a trade, and I thought that they were all terrible until I saw a guy trade Andreas Johnsson and Timothy Liljegren for Brett Pesce today.

Having to sacrifice Bracco to move Marleau is non-starter

I dont think Carolina trade gets you Pesce either.

Benning is an non NHL d man, and he sucks

I would do Kappy and Bracco for Pesce.

Zaitsev is going somewhere for a pick but not the Canes, they have to much D depth.

Marleau you have to add a pick or retain salary, but you don’t give up Bracco. He becomes more valuable to a team with cap room after you pay his first bonus instalment July 1st
