that goalie deal makes no sense. skinner arguably has the highest upside.

no he won't, but neither will fucale (ECHL this last year?) or dansk. the oilers can get a backup in free agency no problem. skinner can matriculate in the minors and hopefully be pushing within 2 years or so

neither fucale or dansk is an NHL backup right now. full stop. it is far more likely that a brian elliot or similar can deliver backup quality goaltending on a 1 year deal for cheap. it happens every year.
