The Philly one is to gain a LHD in Gostisbehere and make room for Karlsson, the other is take a couple one year cap dumps to get a decent 2nd round pick, seems a bit steep to take on $5+ million for a 2nd round pick to just buy them out but I'm guessing that's the thinking here.
