Even if Marner ends up being slightly better, the Cap savings early on make a difference. And not that it really matters much, I like the idea of the Rangers Drafting an elite talent. Rather than trying to trade for one, or going after them in Free Agency.

Yeah at this point Kakko is worth more than Marner because he's 30 mil cheaper.... Cap Space always gets forgotten in these parts....

But talking about the rest, I think that's an undersell on Kreider because of Jarnkrok. You gotta aim higher than that. And we're talking 2020 picks not 2019...

Yeah I think something different would be a different team. Tolvanen is a top 40 prospect. Fabbro is a top 75 prospect. The rest aren't even in the top 100...

Right, I mean that's like Skjei, Howden, Seider and a 2nd rounder. Regardless of player value that's also saving them 5 mil in cap over each of the next 2 years. I think the value is close. But I wouldn't expect Toronto fans to be reasonable in their player evaluations....
