To be fair I think there is zero chance Pitt trades Crosby. I wanted to expend on another trade proposal to see if it looked great. I think It does, but not enough depth at D and Mtl’s best prospects are not ready

I think if I had it to do over, there is probably a way to include Dumoulin in the move while taking Alzner back as long as the incentive was good enough. If the Pens are ripping it down they can take on a few gnarly contracts as long as it's worth it.

Probably, but you still have Poehling and Romanov with Sid still there to be around the young players. Despite an all around bad playoff for the Pens, Sid is still playing ridiculous hockey right now.

Price - Weber - Crosby would be a solid fondation for a championship team and Dumoulin would solidify the LD. To add Dumouin would mean getting rid of another high end prospect and picks, but man that would be crazy!

It would definitely some serious incentive, probably those two 2nd rounders and a decent prospect. Taking back a contract like Alzner is rough with Gudbranson and Johnson already there.
