So by trading for Nurse in effect becomes a 9.2m Dman. 3.2m of Nurse and 6m of Lucic. Many ways to spend 9.2m better.

If it cost the Oilers nurse to move lucic then lucic is staying in Edmonton

EDM Nurse is the best D-man on their team. They're not going to trade Nurse to get rid of Lucic. Him, McDavid, Draisaitl, and the Nuge won't be traded to get rid of Lucic

I think the leafs trade is close to fair but neither player will crack the leafs lineup, even with kappy gone, thinkntheyveould want Bratt or zacha.

Nurse - Russell / maybe Bouchard
Sekera - Benning

Manning/ Bear/ Jones -7th

Are the Oilers just going buyout Sekera/ Russell to make room for younger players, trade them for a lose and spend that money elsewhere, or just bench them and bury them in the minors for 2 more years?

Most likely look at moving Russell sekera will stay when healthy he has positive play more then negative I believe Oilers will be in on Collin Miller as hes fallen out of Vegas an they need there cap space it will look something like

Oilers will also look at trading Matt Benning

Ethan Bear for John Quenneville and Blake Speers.
Devs fans go take a look at a move fro Brodin in Minny or Brodie in Calgary. As much as I want Nurse too, it would take more than we want to part with.
