Get real Marners camp wants $11+ million, No way he's taking $8 million from the Rangers. If this were the case Marner would be already signed by now. Any OS on Marner has to be in the Connor McDavid range for him to even sign it. And oh FYI Dubas easily matches that and thanks Gorton for being that dumb.

Marner's would also want 7 years, as would Karlsson. And you can only offer Duchene 8 years if you trade for him first.

I agree with you on what Marner will ask for, However i dont think any team including the leafs will offer him 11M. Having said that I think Marner get traded at the draft.

There is a real dilemma there. I think my real issue with a marner contract is he's never been more than a mid 20s goal scorer. He just racks up assists.
I don't put the same value in them. But it's hard not to say he's one of the best players on Toronto. I don't think he's worth 11, but I don't really think that matters. Because he will sit unless he gets it and eventually toronto will cave.
