Provorov is getting more than that

Lindell just signed with Dallas for 6 x 5.8 and Trouba is far better. No way Trouba makes only $700,000 more then Lindell. With that signing Trouba's minimum is $7.5 million over 7 seasons if not more.

Lindell has a bad contract. That is a very bad way to make that argument.

So? Bottom line is Trouba is twice the D man that Lindell is. So he's easily going to get 7 x 7.5 if not more. Trouba would easily get close to $8 million per on the open from a desperate GM. Your $6.5 million would be laughed at from Trouba and Overhardt. He's getting that much on a one year salary arbitration deal. Especially coming off a 50 point season.

Evolving hockey released it's spreadsheet of what players should make based on years. They nailed the Lindell deal. They have Trouba at 7.2-7.3 for a 5 or 6 year deal. Andrew MacDonald is really in the lineup??
