If the Flyers moved up to 5th it would be dumb to take Caufield (there's an extremely high chance he's available at 11th). At 5OA I would much rather seem them take whichever of Cozens, Turcotte, or Byram slips. Other than that this doesn't look too bad.

First off that garbage doesn't get you Trouba, And secondly you can only offer him 7 years not 8 years.

By acquiring his rights, he would become their property and they can sign him to an 8 year contract.
If he was a UFA it would be a 7 year max.
