MB is yet to trade away a first rounder, I doubt he starts for Tyler Johnson.

I honestly don't think it matters because Johnson has a full NTC for 2 more seasons, doubt he's a trade option for Tampa.

In my opinion one of Killorn, Palat and Johnson (all with NTCs) will be asked to waive it during this offseason.
Let's hypotetically assume that BriseBois ask Johnson to waive and he accepts.

I think Seattle will pick Johnson and he will be okay with that since he is from Spokane area.

Ranger trade looks fair to me

It's true, I just assume Tyler Johnson will be traded (always, assuming he'd waive his NTC...) as he's the one that has the most value out of Killorn, Palat and him.
But yeah, if we'd somehow be able to get rid of Killorn and Palat, so that Johnson will be exposed at the expansion draft... best case scenario

Palat is still very valuable two-way wing, but his injuries are the problem.

After this season I've lost all hope in him. 3 goals in the last 3 months? First time in his NHL career that he doesn't even hit 10 goals. His contract is a dead weight unless he gets his acts together. I'd probably give him one more chance this upcoming season, but things are not looking good for him.
And I hate that Cooper doesn't get him off of the 1st line when he sucks for an extended period of time. Someone needs to send him the message that he has to step his game up.
