That is foolish to buy out Soderberg who is the perfect #3 center. That is just throwing cap space away. We are not getting Malkin There is no reason to trade futures for a guy that 10 years older than our core.

Also dont see a reason in the LEddy trade. Z is younger and fits the #4/5 defender role perfectly and he is made for playoff hockey. people are aware of where he is at on the ice.


I do see the Avalanche exploring a trade of Barrie for a top 6 FWD. When he scores he is good. When he isnt he is a ghost and his defensive mistakes are magnified. He was MIA the last 4 games of the series and he is not gonna be worth the 7.5+ million he will be asking for. Not when Makar and Girard showed they can deliver in the playoffs too.
