Step away from the ledge, friend. You guys have a pretty good team right now, and you want to dump most of your studs for a few good players and lots of picks? Just add some beef for next year, and I think you'll be fine. This year's playoffs showed that this current team can get out-muscled. Just need some beef.

I agree with you. However, without heart muscles mean nothing. The majority of this team lacks heart. Maybe a blowup is an overreaction but unless someone can provide a measure of a hockey player’s heart for the game, the next generation will probably do a better job than this current iteration of flames.

You have a good point about heart...no way to measure that except looking at actions on the ice. As a Blues fan, that is what frustrates most of us about Tarasenko. Some games he just seems like he's not interested in playing hockey. When he works hard, he's elite. Some days though - those "heart days" to which you refer - he's just a guy. So frustrating. I feel you. Keep heart though. The Flames are pretty darn good. Perhaps this year's bust and early exit will make them hungry. After all, we St. Louisans have been waiting 52 years until next year.
