Quick, Kovalchuk >>> Koskinen, Sekera. JP is nowhere near enough to take those two. Bad trade all around for LA. Ang is another Amadio, Campbell could fetch possibly a first round pick if the Kings added, not a fourth and C list prospect. Vatanen hasnt played a full season in the NHL ever, no thanks. If the point of your retool is to make the Kings considerably worse for the next 5 + years you succeeded.

Campbell absolutely can not bring back a first unless theyre adding their own first, Quick is washed up, Kovalchuk is too old. Kovalchuk and Toffoli are nearly untradeable, Quick is getting there too

So many things wrong with this construction. Just a few of them: If you think the wildly erratic Koskinen is an improvement on Quick, you haven't seen enough of either. You can't trade Campbell if you're trading Quick. Toffoli played all 82 games this season and had 13 goals and 21 assists in a bad year for him. Puljujarvi has never played more than 3/4 of a season and has 17 goals and 20 assists in his entire career, and that is playing with Connor McDavid, so if you think he's an improvement over Toffoli, you're hallucinating.

Hes not an improvement on Quick, I've seen enough of Cal Petersen over the last few years to know hes LAs goalie going forward. Quick has a few mediocre years left in him, but hes far from the player everyone regards him as. Puljujarvi is not meant to replace Toffoli, hes a lotto ticket prospect, see if they can undo what Edmonton did to him. Hes still a young top 5 pick, meanwhile Toffoli is only going to get worse because he is not cut out for the NHL game and hes not surrounded by a ton of great players to insulate him and feed him points.

ur not understanding what were saying, why would u trade quick and kovalchuck who still have trade value whether u like it or not (quick much more so than kovalchuk) IN OUR DIVISION for a bunch of busts? a line of McDavid, Draisitl, and Kovalchuck could easily net 130 goals by themselves next season. u dont want to be the ones that created that line in ur own division. that makes no sense. and Toffoli who just turned 27 for a border line AHL player??? thats a headscratcher too. Not to mention that Jack Campbell was top 5 in GAA and top 3 in save percentage. I dont think the kings will trade him but honestly Campbell probably could net a first if you threw in a mid round pick considering the season he just had and hes only making league minimum on top of that

a line of McDavid, Draisitl, and Kovalchuck would net 130 goals the same way Brett Gretzky is one part of the highest scoring brother duo in NHL, Kovalchuk nets 10 McDraisitl nets the other 120 that they would score by themselves anyway. Toffoli is an overpaid border line AHLer himself and will only get worse, he cant skate, hes Matt Moulson.
