Description

Not realistic for Marner to do a deal like this at all, but I wanted to try it just because I can't find any other way of making it work.

In reality, one of Johnsson and Kappy probably goes unsigned (at least until someone like Marleau or Zaitsev is traded). I think the market for those two is very minimal, and we actually need them because we're not exactly filled with money to sign replacements. Trading Zaitsev and signing someone for about 2 million is the best, and least likely in a lot of ways, option.

$10.5M over 6 years seems to be the most reasonable. I doubt he takes a bridge deal, even though its best for the team if he does

I agree, either way it will be good for the team. Either on a short term basis or long term.

agreed, the most likely situation is 10 x 6 or so, plus trading either Marleau or Z if possible. If not, Say goodbye to either Kappy or Johnsson

If either of the two have to be moved I hope it is kappy over Johnsson.

Probably agree, but I want to keep both. Our depth looks a lot less attractive without guys like them lol
