      Too much?
      I don't know if it's fair to call a 26 year old a career back-up. He has more experience at this point in his career than Lack did when the Canes traded for him.

      None of these trades help the other team. The return is also far too high on all of them. Suter and Parise have little value without retaining. Their contracts last till about age 40, noone will look at that as a positive unless they need to reach the floor, but in that case they probally give a 4th rd pick or less when they are near the end of the contract and the actual $ is lower.
