Description

A lot of speculation on here lately of what it would take to get Byram. First of all I am not saying MTL should do this but I do think to make sure you get Byram you'd need the 4th pick and this is what I believe the price would be.

Add. Colorado would move down 11 spots just to get lazy Drouin and also gives you 2nd? Eh.. I dont think they would move that pick and they would draft Cozens.

IMO, the reason there has been a bunch of posts related to "Drouin for 2019 4th overall pick" is due to Drouin's past chemistry with MacKinnon. This Duo was deadly in the junior. Then again, these type of trade don't make any sense.

If Colorado trades out of 4 I think its going to take a brooks, or Suzuki type prospects instead of draftpick back that is a year or two away from contributing

Nope. I was pretty high on him.. in the past. He dissapointed me with his lack of drive and work ethic.

You're probably right, in the description I stated I wasn't saying I think this deal should happen just that it's my take on what it would cost to get Byram.

I think the reason a deal like this has been a fan favourite for Hab fans is we finally get that elite potential LHD in Byram and move on from a player that most are frustrated with.

And for Avs fans they get to reunite MacKinnon with Drouin on a line with Rantanen. Could you imagine the speed and offensive potential of that line? Enough to give most defensemen in the league nightmares.
