Yeah I have no clue what he could fetch. This seemed pretty steep, but some guys have him ranked above Hughes so idk.

The Rangers have a history of going off the board, so I'd be much more comfortable doing that with a later pick (although the last one seems like it might work out)

If the Rangers really like Podkolzin, I could see them moving #2 to the Hawks for #3OA + someone like Ian Mitchell or (Chad Krys+Kayumov).

Do not overthink it; take Kakko. Mainly because I do not think any team is willing to offer something that would be worth it.

The Rangers have never been in this position. And there is such a steep drop after the Top 2, it's tough to find the proper compensation to trade down from there. I think there will be a mutiny if the Rangers trade out of there, anyway. Keep it simple. Hughes or Kakko.
