Can i ask why you are trading Loui Eriksson here? You have $12m in cap space, so he is not hurting the team in this regard, and giving away a 1st round pick to save cap space that you are not using does not make sense to me? If you do not want him on your team and cannot find a trade that makes sense, why not send him to Utica and save the first rounder?

I do like the idea of targeting Jordan Eberle though. Price might be a bit high, but i think he would be a great piece to play with Horvat.

I just did that trade to dump Eriksson before I did any signings and didn’t know how much space I’d need, I decided to keep it because that trade will have to come at some point when they do need the capspace, if it’s two years away then I suppose it’d be a lower price but I just figured why not dump asap and have space at the deadline and to start off next off-season so they could sign someone else, that said the trade is not essential to this post so you can just pretend it’s not there and I sent him to Utica ?
