People are definitely losing their shit looking at this armchair.

STL deal makes sense and works out for both sides, no problem there. STL needs top centre after Backes is gone, Boston needs RHD.

EDM trade sees Chara @ 4mil with Subban go for scraps...basically a cap dumb. Sorry Zee, we love you but we need space for new guys. EDM needs defence and spect goalies, Boston needs cap space.

Cap dumb #2: Hayes, Connolly and Koko go join the Rangers for more scraps. Connolly and Koko are RFA's so if NYR doesn't want them they don't need to sign them, it's basically just giving them options...meanwhile having the Hayes brothers together might wake them up.

Cap dumb #3: McQuaid to Vancouver for scrap pick - I'm sure he's still useful in some way.

Cap dumb #4: Seidy sent anywhere else for a 7th for the cap floor.

With that space sign Brouwer, Hutton, Okposo and Yandle. Defence is improved, offence is still high powered and deep and goaltending is on point. Also it would leave the Bruins with about 6.2 mil in cap space, leaving them room to sign everyone next year.

        Enough with the Krejci for Shattenkirk stuff plz. Shatty sux and is way overrated. I watched all the Blues Nationally televised playoff games and he basically had a full diaper 75% of the time. He was easily their biggest letdown, while Krejci is our best or in the top 3 every playoff we make. We need better defense, not a 50 point Dman who will end up atleast -10 and struggle in his own end. Krecji is better defensively than shatty, he just gets overlooked cuz hes got the #1 defensive center on his team.

        None of those trades are realistic. Chara has a no trade clause which requires him to sign off on a trade. There is zero chance he would sign off on finishing his career in Edmonton. Koko just signed in the KHL so there is zero trade value in him. And the NYR aren't going to take the other two guys just because Boston wants their salary's off their books. And in regards to the other cap dumps, the cap is not going up this year so just about everyone is going to be dealing with a cap crunch across the league. Arizona has plenty of their own guys to sign to bring them up to the floor. Doan himself will bring them almost half way there.
