You're right they got work to do. A retired Marleau helps a lot. But if Marleau continues to play, It's about 9m that has to go. I've been saying Nylander because he it's the biggest cap hit. And the structure of contract has annual cash payout of just 4.7m a yer for five years which might be attractive to some teams.

I agree. Even if they have to do a sign and trade that low of a aav would be matched in seconds. Teams would have to really over pay to get any of the “offer sheet” players
