Warning! Brass is damaged goods. Big heart, wants to play gritty, skilled but small and broke down with no return. YET a nice healthy run is well worth a cond 3rd. Say he plays ok, could sign a cheap short term deal.? Good luck Brass, loved him with NYR.

dont hate it. pretty minimal asset to give up since Avs are still in the hunt and just found out Nieto is out week to week. Still keep them a float and dont have to dip into the Eagles yet

I'm ok with this deal. It's a good replacement for Nieto in a draft where we also have OTTs 3rd rounder. We also get a 6th rounder if Brassard doesn't resign

Brassard has been bad this year but just last season he was a solid top 6 forward. Hopefully he can help the Avs get into the playoffs

EDIT: My bad I thought it was a 2019 3rd rounder, but its a 2020 3rd

All I can say is I'm glad his deal is up at the end of the year, tsn panel was just talking about how his age has just caught up to him hard, and how terrible hes been
