Lol, the 2 are not close and are not close in trade value.
Player A 24-20-44 in 60. 1 year left
Player B 31-35-66 in 56. 4 years left and 5 years younger
Not trying to disparage Kreider. Very good player. I can pull a couple metrics that show Zuccarello is better than say...Tavares. Does not mean he is. Trying to compare the 2 is a big stretch. Kreider trade value is 1st, good prospect and mid. The OP is pretty close, i just don’t think Seny has enough value as the prospect. JFK, Urho V, Studnicka, or Frederic would have to replace him. But Boston does not pay that because it’s not the need. Most likely a 2nd and a low end prospect for Zuccarello if the two teams do anything this year.
Yeah it seems like you're vastly overrating your own prospect pool.
Kreider is getting a similar deal to Pacioretty (except with a 1st over a 2nd because he's younger/healthier and you have him for 2 cup runs) ----
NHL Top 50 Prospect + Top 6 player under 30 with term + 1st.
The problem is that there isn't a top 50 prospect in your system. Perhaps not even a top 100 prospect in your system. It's a non starter without a guy like say Debrusk.
The closest thing I can come with in terms of a deal is like Debrusk + Lauko + 2nd. You probably don't want to do that. That's OK. I don't think your pool is a good match. You can get Zucc for say Lauko and a 2nd.
But yeah I'm not sure you're getting the prices this year:
Duchene went for Abramov (better than Donato when you had him) Davidsson (A top 5 guy in your system) a 1st and a conditional 1st.
That's a rental.
Kreider is probably getting as much if not more for his term/cap hit.
Brian Boyle went for a 2nd
Nick Jensen went for a 2nd + Bowey.
Zucc is going to be worth a solid bit more. (2nd + top 100 prospect) or 1st.
