Theres a reason why Zucc, Hayes, Simmonds, Johansson etc havent been traded. Ottawa is holding up the market because everyone wants Duchene and Stone

All depends on whether those teams have an extension in place for them.

but when the price for Duchene is outrageous,
then a team is gonna turn & “settle” for Hayes for much less
Same with Stone

There’s only so many teams that can “buy”
And u guys can only hold salary on 1 of them,
which makes that number less as well

Eventually, i think u guys are just gonna get stuck taking the “best offers” kinda like we had to last year with Evander Kane

I think you’ll get a better return than we got for him,
but i also think you guys aren’t getting the types of returns like you’ve posted above

Those are definitely extended prices.
Id still be ok if we get Tolvanen and 1st for Duchene and Vesalainen and 1st for Stone

I think that’s closer to what ends up happening
A 1st, plus a prospect
Hopefully for u guys, u can get a really good prospect

Maybe something u could do would be to take back a bad salary in order to up your return u get?
