        Depending who you listen to Minnesota was either willing or unwilling to trade Jonas Brodin in a one-for-one for Ryan Johansen... so I find it hard to believe that he'd be moved for a couple of decent middle six players and a 1st.

        The Brodin for Johansen offer included another forward from the Wild. And predictably, CBJ turned it down. No way they would pull the trigger on two pieces for one stud like Johansen. So it's no surprise he went to Nashville in exchange for Jones, who obviously is one of the best young dmen in the league.

        Suburban - Vesey is only entitled to 2 year entry level contract and $950k per year is the max he can receive.
