Description
Kind of a perfect world situation that I couldn't see as realistic. Idk if Coyle could step into Krejci's role as 2C but I do think Debrusk-Coyle-Stone would be an awesome line to watch. All are hard working players. Stone idk where he stands financially contract wise. I know its around $10 mil AAV. On top of that Krejci would need to be shipped out (unlikely) and Backes would need to retire (unlikely). But if BOS did get Stone at the deadline and had intentions on keeping him I think this is a realistic situation. Finally Kuhlman/Celharik/Bjork, maybe even Senyshyn, will battle for that 3RW spot I just left Kuhlman there for now.

unless the Bruins offer up a package that is out of this world, no chance the sens deal their best player to a hated divisional rival, they did not even want to trade Hoffman in the same conference you think they will trade stone to Boston...

Theyd need something like one of Vaak or carlo + one of Studnicka or Frederic + a 2019 1st and another conditional pick to even consider it

I understand what the price is at right now. But if Dorion holds at that price and doesn't get anything for him it's going to be a disaster. The package isn't a horrible deal at all. Both Lauzon and JFK will be able to compete for an NHL roster spot on a team like the Senators. With 2 1st round picks. Granted it isn't 1 elite prospect, a good depth player and one 1st rounder which is what I think you would get from the Jets. JFK projects to be a middle 6 forward with upside and Lauzon stepped in this year extremely well when the back end was hurting. I get what you're saying about being in the same division but is there really that much hatred involved? Regardless you have your opinions and I have mine, and I'm not saying that BOS has the best to offer in potential but they do have pieces that can be building blocks to create a competitive team

His modified clause for next year does he still have to waive? Or can he be traded to any team on his list?

What?! He's still an RFA when that deal expires! The money and term is good for a 2nd pair dman!

He’s not an rfa when the deal expires. It brings him directly to ufa without buying out any years

It said on the long term section that he was an RFA so I thought I was good, drop it down to 3 years $12 million if thats the case

I think that’s a glitch because at the time this acgm is done, Carlo only has 2 years of service. If a player has 7 years of service, he is a ufa, so the 3 year standard elc + 4 year extension means he’s a ufa after that. However you could do McAvoy for 4 years, because they burned a year of his elc, so after his elc is up he’ll only have 2 years of service.
