Is the 2 mil in cap space that we get this year worth being absolutely ramrodded by Ericsson and Girardi's contracts until until 2020? I would sure hope most fans say no. I don't see the Girardi trade happening. We drop only $2M of CAP space and add another Ericsson contract to our back end? NY would definitely make room to take on Datsyuk for that trade, but I don't see Detroit taking Girardi. I don't see Franzen playing every again, might as well LTIR him.
