Danault is what the bruins need though right? He is on a fantastic contract he is great face-off man and is on pace for nearly 60 points would you do it for vaakanainen and a 2nd?

dont bother Bruins fans are still bitter about giving MTL Dryden who as a rookie interrupted BOS reign in the NHL are top dogs sparking the era of excellence for the Canadiens .

we could offer them Kotkanemi and theyd find a reason to ***** .
well outside a few like Gofnutt who would likely contribute something real to the conversation .

Danault is awesome but don't the B's need a winger?
Tatar would be a great fit for them, unfortunately they really screwed themselves with the Backes contract so making a deal is almost impossible for them. I'm not a Bruins fan for the record.

The second you mention Vaakanainen it’s a no. I’m not too excited about a 27 year old on pace for a little less than double his best offensive production. Has he turned a corner, or is this an outlier. I wouldn’t buy on that at the expense of our best defensive prospect who looks super promising, a former 13th overall pick (who has all the makings of an absolute bust, but likely has his lowest trade value at this moment), and a 2nd. It would be way cheaper to get a guy with a similar skill set and no term.

Also, the need is definitely a winger.

Ah yes you’re right.

Point remains the same though, Vaakanainen isn’t being moved unless it’s for an elite player
