3. Who knows with carolina they did trade skinner and not get much in return. Hamilton Has not been good with them and also reported that his trade value was low. It also frees up money for carolina for maybe Faulk? Pesce, faulk, Slavin and hamilton where all rumored so maybe one of the 4 defenseman would be in the trade but Brown would replace ferland who would be leaving. Holl is just thrown in for maybe a replacement of whoever leaves maybe gets his chance to actually play. Timashov has been good in ahl would like to see what he could do in nhl and they need scoring but wouldn't be shocked if bracco was the one leaving instead. like i said unrealistic but its also a lot of creativity and may happen who knows with the nhl. we seen strome moved, hall, subban, eberle so who knows.

I know, people are over reacting so much when it comes to the cap situation. The cap is going up, zaitsev hopefully is traded and Marleau, Horton and brown should be gone and muzzins cap hit should also be gone unless he resigns. Hopefully Lilly and sandin should be in the top 4 and Rosen playing 3rd pair all making under 1 mil. The leafs will have cap space and will be able to add for a cup run
