Hopefully Ottawa trades Melnyk for Desmarais as owner.
He'll be able to spend to the cap and keep players that hated the old front office.
He'll get the downtown rink built and make every penny back tenfold when he collects the federal government bribe money you see on the boards and in the boxes of the Senators home games.

With Melnyk around, it's just tough to see a future because he's been so repellent to Alfredsson + Karlsson

Just a small detail but Clarke MacArthur won't be bought out, he will stay on LTIR (80% insured) until the end of his contract, which is after next year.
