Hayes is going to be costly. If you look at the underlying statistics, the way he is valued is severely underrated.

Hayes 2.46 P/60 is in the top 40, his 20.3 Rel GF% is 11th in the NHL. Also, on a team with a horrid possession metric, he is over 50% and his team is 7.54% better when he's on the ice.

As a canes guy I love that trade, but idk if we could get that kind of package for Pesce. He's good, but not that good.

Myers is playing very good recently with Buff gone. Rosco and a pick is good enough for the trade...I doubt the Jets would want to get rid of him though
