It doesn't take a lot to make this team good. They have the forward set-up to at least make the Playoffs in 2019, given the development on guys like Malgin, Borgstrom, and the bottom 6 rookies. They've got a solid top two lines that may not amaze you, but they're very balanced. The third line is also very effective, and young - meaning that a year of development is all it takes. The 4th is balanced out by a wide selection of forward prospects, and there' s very little concern about the depth of the forward group.
The defence is a work in progress, given the fact that on-paper they're probably better than IRL. Adding a significant scoring dman in gardiner could really help, and it doesn't sacrifice cap or roster spots to do it. McCoshen has to fight a little harder to get into the lineup, but I would expect injuries.
Goalies is probably the area of concern, but given the fact that there is no ideal solution ATM, I would wait. Give it a year and see if they step it up. If they fail, trade Reimer and sign someone - they have enough money for someone like McElhinney, a solid but older option. Another goalie prospect is a must-add for this team.
Reasonably, the cap for 2020/21 and even onwards looks good, as they have a few guys locked up pretty long-term, and the main upcoming UFA/RFAs are all only small pay raises.
In my Opinion Florida is just missing good goaltending don’t get me wrong Luongo is a good goaltender but the age and injury’s are getting to him if I’m the panthers go after either Bobrovsky or Varlamov in free agency

Agreed. I’d add one of them but It’s honestly quite unlikely that they sign in Florida, they might prefer other options.
