      So your trading Bozak and a 2nd round pick for Bicknell and no pick going to the leafs??? That had no Chace of happening. Like the Anaheim trade. I would say biggest concern not enough vet dman.

      The Hawks are looking to delete salary not adding it with Bozak. Why trade Bozak, Leafs can use him as a 3rd/4th centre. Although I don't think Holland will be resigned by the Leafs, there is no benefit to the Vesey trade. Vesey is going to wait till after the draft, after the summer signing and RFA and UFAs and then decide in mid August. If JVR is traded as you suggest, it does open up a nice spot for Vesey as one of the top two LWs on the Leafs. Might as well keep Hunwick and least till TDL.

      Leafatic. I'm kinda optimistic about the Leaf defence. Rielly and Gardiner. Carrick has been playing very well in the AHL playoffs, Zaitsev will be 25 years in October and a long time excellent pro. If the Vatanen trade happens well that's 5, I think could be rather solid. Hunwick, Marincin, maybe Corrado round out the top 8. You're right another veteran or different veteran than Hunwick couldn't hurt.
